Nikita the Spider

How Much Does Nikita Cost?

The first 125 pages are always free. Nikita costs just two cents (US$ .02) per page thereafter.

For instance, if Nikita finds 500 pages on your site, you'll be asked to pay (500 − 125) × $.02 = $7.50 in order to see what Nikita found. You don't have to pay in advance.

You can limit the number of pages that Nikita visits in order to cap your costs.

During a followup crawl, you're only charged for pages that your server says have changed since Nikita's last visit. (Nikita obeys HTTP caching rules. If your server doesn't send E-Tag, Last-Modified or Expires headers, Nikita can't cache your pages.)
